This is one of my favourite places and this image explores my love of pattern, colour and place. It features the well known Victorian glass house in the Botanical Gardens, filled with tropical trees, plants and flowers, as well as lots of patterned trees in beautiful soft greens, blues and warm shades.

It is taken from an original artwork featuring painting, collage and stylised trees collaged using vintage papers and drawn into. The words running through the design were written by Michael Lott and say;

‘In this city made of steel,

There is a place for things to grow,

And feel,

Alive’

The prints are printed on to archival paper using pigmented, light fast inks and are signed by the artist. The prints are mounted in iced white mounts and hand packaged into biodegradable cellophane sleeves. These are printed to last a lifetime.
