This image explores my love of the Peak District, which is on my doorstep. This landscape is taken of the Peak Forest Canal, which weaves it’s way from Ashton-under-Lyne to Buxworth. It’s beautiful to walk along, in Summer or Winter and the scene is filled with vibrant, rich shades of green and natural patterns.

It is taken from an original artwork featuring collaged paper with paint, stylised trees collaged using vintage papers and drawn into, ink and bleach hand painted with a range of patterns and words running through the design which are written by Michael Lott.

The prints are printed on to archival paper using pigmented, light fast inks and are signed by the artist. The prints are mounted in iced white mounts and hand packaged into biodegradable cellophane sleeves. These are printed to last a lifetime.
